A stand collar rises straight at the neck, fastened to one side with two decorative buttons. From there the front edge curves diagonally across the chest and down the body, closing over itself rather than meeting in the middle. Panel seams draw the waist in on both sides, and welt pockets sit level at the hip on each side. Below, the skirt widens out gently and falls to a hem at mid-calf.
