Diamond quilting runs across the whole jacket in an even grid, holding a light padding that keeps the shape soft rather than bulky. A turn-down collar stands high at the neck with a short strap and stud at the throat. Four large press studs close the front in a straight line, and slip pockets sit low at each hip. Waist seams draw the body in slightly, and the hem finishes level just below the hip bone.
