A dense curled pile covers the whole upper, sitting high and soft so the seams almost disappear. A wide band crosses the vamp in the same texture, folding over at the centre and holding the front in place. The toe is cut broad and squared off at the front, and the collar stays low and plain around the ankle for a quick slip-on. Inside runs smooth against the foot, and the sole is flat with a slim edge.
